It is my privilege to welcome you to TrueNorth Nursing and Home Care Inc. and thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization.
TrueNorth Nursing and Home Care Inc. was founded on a simple yet meaningful belief: every individual deserves to receive compassionate, respectful, and high-quality healthcare in the comfort and dignity of their own home. We are committed to providing personalized care that promotes independence, enhances quality of life, and supports individuals and families through every stage of their healthcare journey.
As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Nurse (ADFCN), I have had the privilege of serving our community across a wide range of healthcare settings in Parry Sound. Throughout my nursing career, I have worked extensively with older adults and seniors living with complex health conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, and other chronic medical conditions. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the unique physical, emotional, and social needs of seniors and have strengthened my commitment to delivering person-centred care with empathy, patience, and dignity.
In addition to my role as an Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Nurse providing Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Service through GLENN'S FOOT CARE SERVICES INC. I have served as a Clinical Resource Nurse in long-term care, where I have supported residents, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams while promoting excellence in clinical practice and resident-centred care. My experience has also extended into the hospital setting, where I have provided nursing care within the Acute Care Unit, Rehabilitation Care Unit, and Transitional Care Unit. Working across these diverse healthcare environments has given me valuable insight into the continuum of care and the importance of seamless support as individuals transition between hospital, long-term care, and home.
These experiences inspired me to establish TrueNorth Nursing and Home Care Inc. with a clear vision: to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and compassionate home care. Our goal is to provide families with confidence that their loved ones are receiving safe, professional, and individualized care from skilled healthcare professionals who genuinely care about their well-being.
